This plant had not been recorded in the area for over 50 years and was re-discovered in 2007 year on the north west slopes of Baranduda regional park. It has an exquisite flower and BLC is doing its best to propagate this rare and attractive little plant.

Swainsona sericea or silky swainsona was located on Baranduda range in September 2007
