Threatened plants survey
Report on swainsona sericea survey and protection completed on Sept 21 2008
Four participants in perfect weather searched and located the plants found last year - a total of 36 plants were recorded and guarded for protection against grazing animals. Flowering appears to be a 2 weeks later than last year. Lots of other flora were observed including a significant occurrence of drooping she-oak or Allocasuarina verticillata, many other flowering plants and a real feature of the day was seeing a Burton's legless lizard - click here for full details and photos
