Beginnings ..

Posted by Tony Marsh at February 10. 2012

I was just thinking ... imagine if we all collected the wildlife stories from our

Baranduda homes !!!

It would be an amazing and diverse collection.

It would tell an amazing wonderful story if all collected in one spot and dated with photos and anecdotes/observations.

Tony - could we do something online? where people can post?

We could create a " living with wildlife " photo/blog ..

This forum is a first attempt to address the need for an ongoing place to post our observations

At the moment there is an issue (at least in my browser) with the side menu options (News, Events etc) overlapping the area where I typing this text - hopefully this is correctable

cheers

The issues with this format are obvious but Im still hoping to be able to work through them. The side menu overlap of the message posting area is painful - I will see a resolution from the gateway programmers.

To be as inclusive as I would like it to be would require people to be able to post as easily as they write an email - but that has limited audience of course. The need to login to post is a hurdle for people to get over but in a sense its no different to email where you have to log in to send and receive email. People tend to forget they went through that process at sme stage in the past.

There are 3 contributors now - hope that will build to include everyone who was previusly emailing each other and then we can think about encouraging other Baranduda residents to observe and post what they seeTony.
