Ghunda Mulla Landcare Group
The Ghunda Mulla women's Landcare group are the first Aboriginal Women’s Landcare Group to be established in Victoria.
The group, which was first formed in 2010, made it their aim to reconnect to their spiritual and cultural landscape.
This reconnection is seen as underpinning the aspirations of the group and what they want to achieve in Learning about traditional Aboriginal land management.
The group has been undertaking a range of projects, including
- Cultural exchange with Warlpiri Women (2011)
- Field day with ethno botanist Dr Beth Gott (2012)
- Weaving workshops with Kiewa Landcare Groups (2012-13)
- Maintenance of the Burraja Bush Garden
